The challenge

Workable's default page looks like everyone else's

Thousands of companies use Workable. The default careers page makes every one of them look the same. Yours included.

High application drop-off from generic listings

Candidates who land on a bare job listing with no brand context convert at lower rates. Your pipeline suffers as a result.

No space for the content that actually converts

Team videos, hiring manager messages, culture proof — none of it fits in Workable's standard job page format.

How the Workable integration works

Workable's built-in careers page builder is included on all plans and works well for smaller teams who need something live quickly. But it comes with a fixed structure, limited SEO control, no proper CMS for employer brand content, and restricted creative flexibility. You can add CSS and some media, but you're working within Workable's constraints throughout. Voyse is for teams who need full structural control, rich media, proper content management, and the ability to map different templates to different jobs — without those constraints.
Workable offers three careers page options: their built-in site builder, a JavaScript widget, and a full custom build via their API. Voyse uses the full API — the option Workable themselves describe as requiring "a full website team including front-end developers." That level of customisation and control, delivered without your team having to build or maintain it.
For many teams it's a question of brand maturity. A careers page hosted at apply.workable.com signals to candidates — and to your own leadership — that careers site experience isn't a priority. For employer brands of a certain scale or ambition, it's a deal-breaker: it looks like software, not a company. Voyse hosts your careers site on your own domain (careers.yourcompany.com or similar), fully branded, with no third-party subdomain in sight. Workable does offer a custom domain option on their higher-tier plans at additional cost — Voyse includes it as standard.
Voyse handles the full candidate journey end to end, including the application form. Candidates browse, engage with your employer brand content, and apply — all within your branded Voyse careers site. All application data flows directly into Workable as normal, so nothing changes for your TA team's workflow inside the ATS.
Yes. Voyse uses Workable's API data — departments, locations, and custom fields — to map jobs to different templates or visual treatments automatically. In practice this means you can have a distinct Early Careers experience, separate appearances for different brands or regions, or campaign-specific pages for priority hires, all driven by how you categorise roles in Workable.
By default, Voyse syncs with your Workable job feed every hour, so new roles typically appear on your careers site within 60 minutes of going live in Workable. For teams that need faster updates, we also support manual syncs triggered from the Voyse platform and webhook-based syncing for near-instant updates. Your TA team never needs to manually republish a role.
A standard branded careers site can be live within days. A full solution with custom design, multiple templates, and approval rounds typically takes 6–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. Once deployed, the platform is self-service: your team manages content, templates, and job mapping directly without coming back to Voyse for routine updates.
Rarely. The only point where engineering is typically needed is applying a DNS change to point your custom subdomain at Voyse (for example, careers.yourcompany.com). Everything else — setup, branding, content management, and ongoing updates — is handled by your TA or employer brand team directly, or by Voyse's customer success team during onboarding.
Yes. Whether you're currently live on Workable's hosted careers page, using their widget, or have built something custom via the API, Voyse can take over the candidate-facing experience with zero disruption to your Workable setup. We handle the cutover, and your ATS workflow remains unchanged throughout.
