The challenge

Limited design flexibility

Lever's native careers page offers minimal customisation. Your brand ends up looking like every other Lever customer.

Candidate journey starts off-brand

By the time a candidate reaches your job listing, you've already lost the opportunity to make a brand impression.

Template constraints slow you down

Changing the look of your Lever job pages means working within tight constraints or escalating to developers.

How Voyse helps

Fully branded careers site connected to Lever

Voyse builds a careers site around your brand and syncs live with your Lever job feed. Every new role inherits your branded template automatically.

Designed for TA teams, not developers

Your team manages the experience. No code. No tickets. Just a careers presence that actually represents your company.

Personalisation at scale

Map different visual templates to departments, locations, or job types. Lever's data drives Voyse's personalisation engine.

How the Lever integration works

Lever offers six ways to connect a careers site, ranging from a simple link to a Lever-hosted jobs page through to a fully API-driven custom experience. Voyse uses Option 6 — the most advanced integration Lever offers — which gives you a fully custom job list, custom job descriptions, and application forms hosted entirely within your branded careers site. This is the same level of customisation used by companies like Spotify, delivered without your team having to build or maintain it.
Voyse handles the full candidate journey end to end, including the application form. Candidates browse, engage with your employer brand content, and apply — all within your branded Voyse careers site. All application data flows directly into Lever as normal, so nothing changes for your TA team's workflow inside the ATS.
Lever's Option 6 — which Voyse uses — does not support automatic resume parsing to pre-populate application fields, social referrals tracking, or source tracking at the careers site layer. These are limitations of Lever's API for this integration type, not Voyse-specific. In practice, most TA teams running Voyse find this has minimal impact: resume parsing is handled at the ATS stage after submission, and source tracking is typically managed within Lever or your wider recruitment marketing stack rather than at the careers site level.
Lever's Career Site Builder (Option 3) is a paid add-on that gives you basic control over the look and feel of a Lever-hosted careers site. It's a simple tool designed for teams who need something functional quickly. Voyse is a different category of product — a fully branded careers site platform built on Lever's most advanced API integration, with rich media support, employer brand content management, personalised candidate journeys, behavioural analytics, and multi-brand or multi-region capability. If Lever's Career Site Builder is a template, Voyse is the full platform.
By default, Voyse syncs with your Lever job feed every hour, so new roles typically appear on your careers site within 60 minutes of going live in Lever. For teams that need faster updates, we also support manual syncs triggered from the Voyse platform, and webhook-based syncing for near-instant updates. Your TA team never needs to manually republish a role.
A standard branded careers site can be live within days. A full enterprise solution with custom design, multiple brand templates, content production, and approval rounds typically takes 6–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. By comparison, Lever's own documentation estimates Option 6 requires around two weeks of web developer time just to build — before any design, content or employer brand work begins. Once your Voyse site is deployed, the platform is self-service: your team manages it directly.
Rarely. The only point where engineering is typically needed is applying a DNS change if you want your careers site on a custom subdomain (for example, careers.yourcompany.com). Everything else — setup, branding, content management, and ongoing updates — is handled by your TA or employer brand team directly, or by Voyse's customer success team during onboarding.
Yes. If your team has already built a custom careers experience on Lever's API — whether that's Option 4, 5, or 6 — Voyse can take over the candidate-facing layer with zero disruption to your existing Lever setup. We handle the cutover, and your ATS workflow remains unchanged throughout.
Your TA or employer brand team manages it directly. They can edit content, update imagery, map templates to different job families or regions, and control the candidate experience without raising a ticket or involving developers. Voyse's customer success team is always available to help, but day-to-day the platform is built for non-technical users to own.
